Today’s blog post is about a restaurant I had been excited to try for quite some time now and was worth the wait- The Diner in Farmers Branch.
One of the things I love SO much about The Diner is the atmosphere- if you follow me on social media, you know that the 1950s is one of my favorite eras, and this cozy spot draws its influences directly from the time period and beyond.
The Diner is popular locally for its breakfast/brunch options, lunch and sandwiches, fresh pies, and all-you-can-eat catfish on Fridays. Brunch time is my favorite time, and I am happy to say how much I enjoyed mine at The Diner.
I really loved my spinach mini quiche with diced potatoes and fruit- it was one of the best I’ve had in a while, and I am a sucker for a good quiche!
The biscuits and gravy are also a great, homey dish which really hit the spot.
Everything about The Diner is fantastic- from the atmosphere to the friendly staff and delicious food. Definitely a must-visit place.~
