Today I will cut right to the chase- I want to talk with you about my favorite burger joint to go to when I’m in the mood for something savory.
LA Burger brings a “Taste of Seoul” with their array of burgers, milkshakes, and even tacos for a variety of satisfying and craveable meals. LA Burger is extremely unique in that they combine and American classic with Korean favorites including kimchi, bulgogi (Korean barbecued beef), and dejogogi, a spicy pork barbecue (as stated on the LA burger website). Hence, feed you Seoul!
For those who do not know, kimchi is a staple in Korean food. It is typically made of napa cabbage and radishes which have been fermented and salted with different seasonings. It is delicious and versatile, making it great to put on just about any dish including burgers, such a LA Burger’s signature K Town burger.
There is truly nothing like LA burger with it’s unique fusion of two cultures, and their unique ideas have not gone unnoticed, being able to expand from Los Angeles all the way to Irving, Texas with a number of locations across the Dallas metroplex.
LA Burger has a very hip environment that includes a beer bar with local craft beers available to drink along with your delicious burgers and fries.
Something that I really love, especially about the Carrollton location, is the friendly staff. As I have said before, I can be quite indecisive when it comes to choosing food, especially from a very large menu. The staff are always so kind and willing to provided fantastic suggestions for me.
Another significant part of LA Burger is their unique choices of fountain drinks.
I can honestly say that there are no bad choices at LA Burger- I absolutely love their thin cut fries and milkshakes. I have tried both the Strawberry Shortcake and the Nutella Nutter Butter (which I was extremely surprised to actually enjoy as I am not a huge peanut butter fan). They even offer signature dishes such as salads and tacos (also, surprisingly one of my favorite dishes of theirs– I’m a tough critic when it comes to my tacos!)
But of course, let’s get to the BURGERS! Something I really love is egg on my burger, and LA Burger definitely did not disappoint me with it’s Cali Sunshine– a to die for combination of smoked bacon, cheddar, and an ez egg. Yum!! And do not fear, vegetarians- the Frijole is a black bean burger with tortilla chips on it. That is genius!
And if you are not quite as adventurous as I am or just prefer the classics, the O.G. is your classic American cheeseburger with homespread, and it is not in any way disappointing.
LA Burger is my favorite burger join in town, and it should be yours too. Why not find your nearest location and try it out? 😉
